Frontlline Healthcare
[2020 - 2021]
As the majority of the society was living in lockdown, emergency services kept on going. During the second and the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemy I followed several nurses and doctors who worked on the frontline.
This immersion is the story of men and women who are today in burn out. Despite the lack of beds and a general feeling of fatigue among the nurses and doctors, services had no other choice to adapt to the situation. More than being a reportage, the images are a reminder of what made the period so special. In hindsight, this images tend to call us back to our fragility as a society.
This reportage was realised in collaboration with Cliniques de l'Europes, Delta hospital and Red Cross Belgium.
